About

Hi! I'm Caroline, a second year student at the University of Georgia.

Here at UGA, I'm studying a wide variety of topics. Here's a little bit more about some of the things I'm learning about:

Entertainment and Media Studies: As a part of this program, I am taking classes in UGA film and video production, producing, screenwriting and editing, plus industry and creative analysis
Spanish: My spanish courses explore the inner workings of the Spanish language, its linguistic structures, cultures and literary traditions. I plan to spend a semester abroad in Spain to support my studies!
New Media: This certificate program is dedicated to exploring the critical, commercial, and creative dimensions of emerging technologies. In addition, I'm gaining technical skills and knowledge, learning things like how to build this website!

DawgVision Media

This is UGA Athletic's broadcasting team. I work with a team of 20+ people to help cover all of UGA's sporting events for SEC Network and ESPN.

Casa de Amistad

As a volunteer for this local Athens organization, I help teach English to adults pursuing their GED.

As the social chair, I help organize events to stregthen the sense of community for our team of over two hundred swimmers!

I've worked on a variety of student films, as an audio recordist, a production assistant, a boom mic op, and as an extra.

This spring, I'll spend a full semester abroad in Valencia, Spain, furthering my Spanish education and improving my fluency.

As a part of this club, I attend panels and lectures by industry professionals that help educate me and equip me with the tools needed for finding success in the entertainment industry.
