What makes a great pizza so great? How does Jon decide what is the best of the best? Let’s break down some of the major factors.

The Crust

Often overlooked, the crust is what pushes a good slice to a great slice. A great crust is well seasoned, and enjoyable to eat on its own.

The Sauce

The quality of the sauce is paramount. Ingredient quality across the board is important, but the stakes are even higher here.

The Flop

This is the first step in any given review. Before the first bite is taken, the slice should be picked up and assessed for a quality flop.

The “One Bite” Philosophy
